Good hospital/institute by central government for speech & hearing. Staffs & doctors are well trained & behaved. Very good kids play area inside the campus which helps kids enjoy. Campus is very spacious , greenery. It got good parking for visitors. First time visitors need to be there by 8:30 AM, They issue tokens & start handling based on token order around 9:15 AM . First time registration fee is Rs 40. There will be separate charges for different tests.

Good centre for speech issues . . . On first day with lots of assessments in different dept to diagnose the problems and they offer therapy by well qualified trainers as demonstration (10day) or regular session (3month). Try to come on first day by 8am and sit in front rows wherever seat available. 8:30 security will start providing tokens bench wise. Since it is government initiative, fees are negligible. I pay RS 250 for assessments & Rs 1000 for 10days OT&ST therapy.

They didn't diagnose correctly. They overlooked my condition. Said they'll call me for further assessment but they never did , (despite me calling them and visiting twice). I got diagnosed and treated elsewhere. Doctors and psychologists here were in my opinion below average ; rude and negligent in their behaviour. Pretty pathetic.

Being a government institute, it has its own pros and cons. Good thing is that you can make an appointment online , which is advantageous especially if you are coming from outside of Mysore. Else there is walk in option, but need to come around 8:30am or so, which is when they start issuing tokens. Registration for first timers is required, at nominal rate of Rs 40. Quite slow process, despite 9am appointment they start only around 9:15 or later and by the time you complete registration it's 10am. So do take early appointment else chance is you may have to wait. Lunch is 1-2, so plan accordingly. The staffs were quite helpful and premise is maintained neatly but public toilets need to maintained better. There is a therapy park, which is good for kids.

The best place to get the right diagnosis and treatments for speech and hearing, autism and all sort of developmental issues for children. They have the well trained staffs and students. They are very friendly and reliable. You get the best treatment at affordable cost. The place is well maintained and pleasant.

Very bad and disgusting place. When the testing takes much time then the government suppose to increase the department. Disgusting government should understand they have increase the petrol prices and all bt he GST and other taxes as been increase but government is not ready to make convenient to the public. Even the employees also have bloody attitude. Indian government is called the corrupted government. They are ready to put board noncorrupted government. But it is there..

Well maintained and serving thousands of people every day who are coming from various parts of the state. But testing time is very lengthy. Staff in the lab are very kind and supportive. As a Mysorean I am very proud to say that the institute is in our city. Thank you.

People suffering with problems of speech n hearing can visit this place for free treatment. Well qualified doctors n good quality of instruments n devices are provided for the disabled. If you feel private hospitals are expensive then this is the place to visit...
